150th Antietam

Gearing up! In a mere 5 days, I'll be off with my unit to the 150th Anniversary reenactment of the Battle of Antietam! It's definitely something to be excited for.
It'll be great to be able to throw off the cover of academia for a weekend to camp out and blow off some steam with great friends, all the while striving to portray history to visitors and passerbys. Also, maybe some Class A photos will come out as a result of the weekend. Here's hoping!

Four Words: ABRAHAM LINCOLN VAMPIRE HUNTER. Wowzers.
Anyhow, it's been a while! Interning at Gettysburg National Military Park has been such a fantastic experience thus far! I hope that many of you have a chance to get out here this summer to experience the town as well as the battlefields (which also include the town)! I have been giving tours concerning the battle on the 3rd Day (July 3, 1863), and have just completed preparations to begin a Soldiers' National Cemetery tour. It's exciting, and free to the public, so take some Gettysburg NMP Ranger tours!
